Went into the store and had a really great experience. I was told that in the future, instead of ordering online, I should call the store and order so the store gets credit. I love having a Rockler location near me, so I’m more than willing to support them any way I can.

Fast forward two weeks later. I call the store with an order. The guy on the call seems very confused and wonders multiple times why I’m trying to do this. I explain I’m only trying to get the store credit for my online order, as I was previously instructed. He still seems perplexed and transfers me to a woman.

The woman also seems confused and then a bit angry that I’m attempting this instead of just coming in. At that point I just gave up and ordered my items online. Needless to say, this has hurt my opinion of this location.

I love having a Rockler near me, but this was a really offputting experience, especially since I was just trying to do the store a favor.

I was looking to purchase a new sliding compound miter saw......I like the Bosch 10in and the 8in along with the Festool Kapex.....so I headed to Rockler to check out the Bosch saws.....they didn't carry the 8in ( not a big deal ).....BUT the salesman showed me the 10in and that's all he was able to show me.
He couldn't show me how it worked....( I will say the floor model was missing parts that I pointed out to the guy ) He didn't seem that he knew a whole lot about the product....so off I go to look at the Festool.
