HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital was an ideal place for mom to get great care and rehabilitation following surgery for a badly broken ankle. Case manager Dexter followed through on all our concerns and helped facilitate getting mom's needs met during her 12 day stay and subsequent trip home. The daily therapy was rigorous yet tailored to the patient's physical limitations. Lots of encouragement helped mom try harder to achieve and improve.
We were over 1,000 miles away from home with no family in the area. The entire staff of HealthSouth made us feel welcome and cared for. It was possible to order a dinner tray to eat a tasty meal with mom every night in the HealthSouth cafeteria. Everyone who worked there was part of a very impressive healthcare team. We were impressed with the facility's light and airy environment, cleanliness, and upkeep. Without reservation, our family would highly recommend HealthSouth at Altamonte Springs, Florida!
